What can cinematic video production do for my marina?
Your waterfront is brilliant but it’s never more than a background landscape for photo ops. You’ve got a booth at every major marine industry event but aren’t capitalizing on its potential for unique coverage. You’ve got a YouTube channel with 40 followers from 2017 who would love to see an original, authentically voiced representation of your marina’s historic location.
Your marina exists as a matte 2D black and white photo but has the opportunity to be seen as a vibrant, breathing world of 3D color and life.
Enter the Hammer and Nail video production services.
We are a group of filmmakers who collectively have a massive depth of experience in commercial and film production with major studios like Netflix and Disney+ to major brands like Toyota and Walmart. Recent post-production film credits for our team include work on Jeremy Saulnier’s Rebel Ridge, Olivia Newman’s Where the Crawdads Sing, and Sean Durkin’s The Iron Claw.

In the marine marketing context, we blend skill sets of composition, lighting, editing, photography, and visual effects with our love of creative storytelling to develop targeted campaigns that build a brand’s dazzling visual presence.
If you’ve got a vision for it, then we’ve got a solution.
What can we help you create?
Marine virtual tours
Recommended timeline: Variable based on acreage and number of boats. The most cost-effective is a three-person crew on a one-day shoot.
What does it cost? $300 base fee plus per day per crew shoot cost options (ranging from $1,500 to $3,500).
What can I expect? An immersive, telescopically translucent 3D tour of your entire waterfront, with a clarity like your viewers dipped themselves in the waters of Bora Bora. Visit our Virtual Tours page to view the granular details about the shooting process, or get in touch with us to discuss directly how crafting a virtual tour is like turning a black-and-white photo into a vibrant, living entity.
Documentary-style Storytelling
Recommended timeline: Six months for businesses that want to develop a true library of content and following. As needed on a project-by-project basis.
What does it cost? $2,000 per month included with our Enterprise Plan, or custom-tailored based on bespoke campaigns.
What can I expect? Included in the Enterprise Plan are two long-form videos per month and 10 to 12 pieces of monthly short-form content designed to use for social media clips. Long-form videos are highly variable depending on the client’s vision. This could mean recurring coverage of your team’s unique daily activities that you’d like to use on your YouTube channel, or you might be a tourism board who needs an entire series developed on local marine landmarks (Think about your lighthouses, shipwrecks, and historic ports that hold incredible stories).
Events Coverage
Recommended timeline: One month for event coverage, processing, and delivery of edited assets.
What does it cost? Variable based on project scope, with shoots based on a per day per crew fee plus a $300 overhead base fee.
What can I expect? One of the most underutilized pieces of the marine industry is the capitalization on the trade shows, the marina poker runs, the Fourth of July fireworks on the shoreline. We provide video coverage that translates into social media treasure, evergreen website content, and narrative-style YouTube content to show your customers that you’re an active, colorful business.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to film and deliver video production assets?
We offer tiered shoot packages with one to three-person crews. We recommend a three-person crew shooting over one full day to maximize efficiency and provide the most cost-effective option. Post-production and processing varies by project but you will generally have virtual tour assets in between two and four weeks. For a project like Docks Expo trade floor coverage, there’s an element of timeliness, and we adjust the deliverables timeline based on the client’s needs.
Do I need to organize the logistics for stories about local landmarks and points of interest?
We will 100% coordinate logistics for setting up the shoot, acquiring any necessary permits, and navigating any related issues such as rescheduling due to weather. If you have a contact who would be great for local knowledge or a narrator you prefer, we’d love to know before beginning any location research.
